What a re-roof — and adding solar — actually involves
A new roof is a considered decision, and most people only make it once or twice. Here is the whole process, in order, so you know what you are saying yes to before you talk to anyone — us included.

Ron walks the roof
Diane schedules it, Ron shows up and gets on the roof himself — not a salesman with an iPad. You get a written estimate for exactly what your roof needs, free, no obligation. If a repair is enough, that's what the estimate says.

Permits and protection
We pull the building permit on your behalf before work starts. On day one the crew tarps your landscaping and staging areas — the yard gets protected before a single tile moves.

Tear-off and what's underneath
The old roof comes off and the deck gets inspected in daylight. Cracked underlayment and hidden damage get dealt with now, while they're reachable — not papered over.

The new roof goes on
Underlayment, flashing, then your material — concrete or clay tile, composition shingle, flat or standing-seam metal. Work meets National Roofing Contractors Association standards and California Title 24 cool-roof code, and the site gets cleaned at the end of every workday, magnets over the lawn for stray nails.

Where solar fits
If you're adding panels, this is the moment — mounts and flashing go in with the roof, not through it later. We're roofers first: the waterproofing under the array is done by the people responsible for the roof itself. Don oversees the solar work and system monitoring after.
